APRIL 6th Witchsocial at Ferndell, Griffith Park

  • Fern Dell Griffith Park Fern Dell Drive Los Angeles, CA United States (map)

We gather again for our next #WITCHSOCIAL

This is a completely social, non-agenda gathering to meet, hike, hang, and know one another, in nature. It's Spring Again and we're going to Ferndell in Los Feliz, walking the trails, making a gather point near the Trails Cafe, and offering a small intentional piece to carry the tradition of the WITCHSOCIAL, which is to tie a piece of cloth with intention to a large witches cord.

Babies welcome, kids welcome, everyone welcome to this particular events. We will have other nighttime socials with events, but for this particular social it's for nature, park, and meetup.

Leashed dogs welcome

Some earthy terrain and unpaved areas.

Ferndell Griffith Park

(Street Parking), consider pub trans or LYFT

Ferndell Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027

To get the most out of the trail begin at the Los Feliz entrance and walk your way up through the Redwoods, stream, and park.

Meet at the stone benches, you'll see us, we will set up a cord and a welcome area.

When: April 6th, 1-4 pm

"No Agenda"

Naturally we're going to network and get to know each other but the point is making friends and expanding our community. We're not here to recruit, or hold the space for others to advertise or recruit, it's for the pleasure of nature and company.

Bring a pack lunch, we will have a limited supply of water

The Trails Cafe is nearby

Trails up to the Observatory or deeper into the canyons, or just hang out, are also available.

"The cord" we are bringing is our Thread of Red at each event. The first WITCHSOCIAL we asked for everyone to wear a red piece of clothing, that was a little hard to spot. This time we are starting a tradition by creating a red cord with your good vibes, intentions on it. Simply bring a ribbon or short piece of cloth (no more than 8 inches) to write in sharpie something positive, deep, or inspired on it. Leave your mark! Tie it to the cord.

Each social we will bring the cord with us, eventually, hopefully this becomes a community symbol of us.

We hope to see you there!
