We are starting Reiki training again, this time from the magickal mind-set. In our first class we focus on key concepts, and core self-healing practices, attuning to the inner to understand the outer.
You will be attuned to Reiki in this class. And, in many Reiki traditions we are left wondering about some key concepts and told “trust the Reiki.” An Eastern Concept in a Western World. Magick of Reiki explores the active participation in the Reiki practice, tapping into the energy and being the conduit, and how to begin to work with those flows consciously for health, transformation, and more.
Reiki is a powerful energetic healing modality that is available to everyone. A form of hands-on healing, Reiki as a practice originated in Japan that was brought to Hawaii in 1937. Reiki energy is Universal Life Force, a high vibrational energy that activates the natural healing processes of the body and restores physical and emotional well-being. Reiki Level 1 will attune you to effectively channel the Universal Life Force energy for healing and transformation. Through hands-on practice, this class will equip you to confidently practice self treatment and begin working more intimately with the vibration of Universal Love.
Your healing channels will be cleared and opened. You will learn a healing practice and become certified in Reiki.
Already Certified but interested?
We have been asked by two other people who already have Reiki certification if they can take this class, because their class was incomplete, not thorough enough, or in the case of one another they were interested in another perspective.
If you already have a Reiki certification and you would like to be in this class you are welcome to take it. I can offer you a little discount if so.
When I trained (1994-96, master 2002) I had two Reiki Masters: Claudia MacGregor and Cheryl Coleman, Founders at the International Reiki Healers Association (IRHA), Which is no longer in business. Thorough and ethical practices that they taught me are the pieces I am bringing into this class; in addition to the Reiki precepts and teachings I’ll also be introducing magical concepts to give a more grounded and practical aspect to the healing.
Another key question I have received in regards to teaching Reike, remarks on some of the spaces in previous classes which the student and/or participants felt like the information was too abstract, spiritual or had an agenda other than learning the Reike. I can assure you that this is both spiritual and practical, with a focus on you being able to lay hands on yourself explore deeper into your own healing, as well as your immediate soul-pod. I do encourage working on other people with a Reiki one certification, especially if you have other certifications that qualify you as a physical therapist, in the medical field, or in someway are already involved in a treatment practice with other people.
Those are all critical pieces of information in regards to helping others. I do not teach table work with other folks at level one, I think the emphasis on the new healer should be on themselves. Reike level two will include all of the table work, protocols and procedures, and a segment by segment walk-through of the physical and energetic bodies, treatment practices, regulations and legalities. As well as distance work and all of the expected Reike trope.
This class is definitely a go.
It depends your inner world, your spiritual practice, your self healing, and gives you agency in the world.
We are not: International Reiki Healers Association
Due to the nature of some of the spiritual – political statements of other Reiki teachers who have a long standing in the healing community we have been asked about our association with William Rand.
This is a normal question is here is a well-established and connected energy healer in the world.
Although part of our lineage does go back through William Rand we need to not certify or associate with the International Reiki Healers Association.
We do not use their methods or books. Our certificates are not necessarily recognized by their organization that sometimes associates Reiki certification with WR.
There is no official governing body for Reiki. All Reiki certifications are proof of training by a healer who got a proof of training from someone else. They do not qualify you, they show that someone else approves you trained with them.
Some organizations respect them, some do not, but they all recognize that there isn’t a legal governing body in the state of California, or in most places, that recognizes them universally as a valid certificate.
This is why all of our certificates includes the lineage printed on them, back to Takata and Usui.
Reiki is a Spiritual, I would even say magical esoteric Buddhist practice integrated into the west and made simple, and it is an initiatory process only.
Lineage is spiritual ancestry and that is your certification.
If you have additional questions you can connect with Scott, the instructor, and grow from there.
